The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz is a franchise primarily recognized by the Arena Football League. The team debuted in 2004 for the AFL's minor league af2. In 2010, it was one of three af2 teams brought into the AFL. The same year, owner Phil Miller decided not to play in the 2011 season, and hasn't played since. The Yard Dawgz are one of nine franchises in league history to last only a single year in the AFL.
