The Chicago Bruisers is a franchise primarily recognized by the Arena Football League. The Bruisers were one of the four founding teams created along with the AFL. The team appeared in one Arena Bowl, losing to the Detroit Drive, in 1988. The team folded following the 1989 season after three years in the league.
